The clouds are gathering, the wind is gaining in strength, the colours are fading, and the darkness is creeping closer…

…but the flowers shine just as bright as ever before.

Finally I publish a painting again! It’s been long since last time, mostly because I hardly paint anything anymore, and the ones I work on I never finish anyway. But this one managed to get all the way to the finished stage.

I wanted to paint something in the same tradition as Erinde but a little more realistically.

Calm setting as she lays down just watching clouds as this day comes ever closer to its' end. Including her path through field was a nice touch that is small, but once you see it you realize that it is important. Grasses at bottom edge provide some nice silhouettes, against bright areas on field.

Ah, so you'v done a painting, finally!
I am very proud of you, you did a great job on this!
Only thing that disturbes me is that the girl is looking a bit misplaced but this is just nitpicking, you know?

great work.
Great use of colors and sense of depth.

The only thing that I see could be imrpoved is
working the background into the foreground, as
the foreground seems to be a bit seperated
